The SCSRT is a state society that provides support and opportunity for medical professionals, as well as enhance the profession image and reputation in the imaging fields.
The SCSRT will achieve this mission by:

SCSRT Vision
The society’s vision is to provide all imaging professionals, within
the state, opportunities for education and growth through professional
development. This is to ensure quality
patient care and strengthen support and services to the community.
Organizational Structure
An elected Board of Directors consisting of Chairperson of the Board,
President, President-Elect, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Executive Secretary
governs the Society.
Goals
The Society will focus on four goals, which are:
1) Education
2) Operations
3) Financial
4) Advocacy
This was the original reason that the SCSRT was formed and should remain our primary focus.
Goals: Education, Meeting Excellences, and Scholarship Opportunities for staff
technologist and student members.
Continually strive for good structure of the budget and procedures for improved functioning of the society.
Goals: Streamlining committees, increase membership benefits, review and establish policies and procedures to improve accountability.
The society is in good financial health but due diligence is necessary to continue to be viable.
Goals: Solvency, Finance Analysis Tools, endowment of scholarships, SCSRT credit
cards, corporate discounts.
The current environment in which we operate has become increasingly complex and requires a strong and unified voice for imaging professionals.
Goals: Bench marketing with other Health Care Professionals, Political Advocacy,
Professional Recognition, Workforce Issues, Publicity, PowerPoint Presentation,
SCRQSA Liaison.
